Neutrophil Extracellular Traps Induce Trypsin Activation
MeSH: P-selektin - Finto
1997 Oct 15;159(8):3929-39. 2011-09-01 P-Selectin P-selektin Engelsk definition. Cell adhesion molecule and CD antigen that mediates the adhesion of neutrophils and monocytes to activated platelets and endothelial cells. The R-PLEX platform offers matched sets of antibodies and calibrators for a wide menu of biomarkers. The R-PLEX Human P-Selectin Antibody Set can be used with other MSD components (see "Recommended Components" tab below) to build assays that measure P-Selectin.

P-Selectin, also known as CD62P, GMP-140, PADGEM, and LECAM-3, is a transmembrane adhesion protein that is upregulated on activated platelets and vascular endothelial cells. It binds to hematopoietic cell PSGL-1/CD162 with highly clustered O-linked sialyl Lewis-x (sLex ) tetrasaccharides and sulfated tyrosine, as well as to heparin sulfate, Versican, and CD42b/GPIb alpha. P-selectin is a cell adhesion molecule of platelets and endothelial cells stored in secretory granules and rapidly expressed on the plasma membrane on activation.10-13 After expression on the cell surface both endothelial and platelet P-selectin mediate leukocyte adhesion.14 Whereas endothelial P-selectin has clearly been shown to be involved in leukocyte and platelet rolling,15,16 the role of P-selectin (Selectin P, GMP-140, LECAM3, CD62 antigen-like family member) is a 140 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein, and is one of the most commonly studied proteins that regulate cell rolling. P-selectin is stored in the Weibel-Palade bodies of endothelial cells, as well as in a-granules of platelets.

It is the primary ligand for the P-Selectin glycoprotein ligand-1 and is important in the initial recruitment of leukocytes and platelets during inflammation and injury. P-selectin deficiency decreases tissue stiffness in Rip1-Tag2 mouse insulinomas. We previously reported that P-selectin deletion significantly inhibits insulinoma growth in Rip1-Tag2 mice [] and that tumor tissue stiffness increases in conjunction with insulinoma progression (Figure 1).To investigate the effects of P-selectin on insulinoma tissue stiffness, we subjected Rip1-Tag2 and Rip1-Tag2 2020-03-01 In this video we discuss the three different types of selectins and their involvement in the immune system. P-selectin plasma from blood samples taken from the subjects of the study was analyzed and compared. A set of P-selectin was purchased from Randox Laboratories Limited (UK). It binds to hematopoietic cell PSGL-1/CD162 with highly clustered O-linked sialyl Lewis-x (sLex ) tetrasaccharides and sulfated tyrosine, as well as to heparin sulfate The adhesion molecule P-selectin (CD62P) is of interest because of its role in modulating interactions between blood cells and the endothelium, and also because of the possible use of the soluble form as a plasma predictor of adverse cardiovascular events.
